Questions
Is this financial advice?
No. Sherlock collects public evidence about a token and explains it. It never tells you to buy or sell, and a clean case file doesn't mean a token will go up.
Treat every case as one input to your own decision.
How does bundle detection work, and can it be wrong?
Sherlock looks at every wallet that bought in the first blocks after launch and walks the funding graph backwards: who sent each wallet its ETH, when, and how much. Wallets that share a funder, were funded minutes apart and bought in the same blocks are grouped into a bundle, with the signals listed.
It can miss bundles funded long in advance through an exchange, because those wallets look independent onchain. It rarely flags an innocent group, and when it does the signals shown will be weak (medium or low confidence).
Can Sherlock tell me what market cap a token will reach?
It shows what comparable tokens reached: launches from the last 30 days with a similar origin post and engagement. You get their peak market caps, how long they took and how far they've fallen since.
That range is context, not a forecast. Most comparables are far below their peak today, and Sherlock shows that next to the range on purpose.
Do you store what I ask?
No. Questions and answers exist only while your request is running. There's no account, no chat log and no analytics on what you type.
Your case history is saved in your own browser so you can reopen it, and you can clear it at any time. To write an answer, your question and the case file are sent to our AI model provider for that request.
Why would I connect a wallet?
Only to raise your daily limit. You sign one free message (not a transaction, no approvals) that proves you control a wallet, Sherlock reads its $SHERLOCK balance on Robinhood Chain, and you get a pass for 12 hours.
The pass holds your tier and wallet address in a cookie on your device. It isn't linked to anything you ask.
Which tokens can it investigate?
Any ERC-20 token on Robinhood Chain (chain ID 4663). Sherlock indexes the chain from its first block, so it can see every token launched before the one you ask about, including the deployer's earlier ones.
What does it cost?
Nothing up to your daily limit: 5 questions a day with no wallet, and up to 1,000 a day for the largest holders. The API bills are paid by the 1% creator reward on $SHERLOCK trades, sent to a public wallet.
What happens if the creator reward doesn't cover the bills?
Limits would come down before quality does, and the change would be posted here first. The ops wallet is public, so anyone can compare what comes in with what's spent.
